Kazakhstan and the United States are interested in further expanding their strategic partnership and are eagerly looking for new ways to do that, Kazakhstan’s Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said at their meeting Washington, DC, on January 25.

Ladies and gentlemen,
On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan I welcome the distinguished guests gathered for the OSCE Summit. Kazakhstan is the first of the new independent States to host this important international forum and I thank all of our partners for the confidence shown in our country.
